Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, flour, sugar, vanilla, and salt until light and fluffy.
Press the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips with the milk. Stir until smooth.
Spread the melted chocolate over the crust.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned.
Cool before cutting into bars.

Marble bars are a great treat to bring to a potluck or party.
You can also add nuts or other mix-ins to the dough for an extra crunch.
