Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  2. In a large bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until creamy. Add sugar and vanilla extract and mix until combined. Slowly stir in the flour and pecans.
  3. Roll dough into 1-inch balls. Place on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly golden.
  4. Let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheets before transferring to a wire rack.
  5. Once cooled, roll the cookies in the confectioners' sugar and let cool completely before serving.
