Ingredients

  • 1 cup couscous
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add couscous and stir to coat with the oil.
  3. Add water, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, chili powder, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
  6. Fluff with a fork and serve.
