- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups frozen corn
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- In a large pot, cook the beef and onion over medium heat for about 5 minutes, or until the beef is browned and the onion is softened.
- Add the chicken broth, corn, butter, flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, and thyme to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes.
