Ingredients

  • 1 cup turkey giblets
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups turkey or chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup white wine

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the flour and stir until it forms a thick paste.
  3. Add the salt and pepper and stir to combine.
  4. Add the stock and wine and stir to combine.
  5. Add the giblets and bring the mixture to a low boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Strain the gravy through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the giblets.
  8. Serve warm with your turkey dinner.
