- 1 pound beef liver
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced

Directions
- Slice the liver into thin pieces and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge the liver pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium heat.
