- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and black pepper. Dredge the chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

- Return the chicken to the skillet and pour in the chicken broth and white wine. Bring to a simmer and cover. Cook for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet once again. In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream and Dijon mustard. Pour the cream mixture into the skillet and stir well. Cook for another 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 5 minutes to heat through. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
