Ingredients

  • 3 cups of grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
  • 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup of freshly chopped parsley

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cheese, cream, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix until everything is well blended.
  3. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, layer the potatoes in an even layer. Pour the cheese mixture over the potatoes and spread evenly.
  4. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
