Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup dried cherries
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until well blended.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips, dried cherries, and walnuts.
- Spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray and pour in the cake batter.
- Cook on high for 45 minutes or until the cake is cooked through.
- Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
