Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 4 cups corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Directions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, heat the oil. Add the garlic, ginger, and onions and sauté for 3 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Add the corn kernels and sauté for 5 minutes until lightly browned.
