Ingredients
- 1 pound steak, such as flank or sirloin
- 1/2 cup barbeque sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
Directions
- In a medium bowl, combine the barbeque sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, black pepper, and red pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Put the steak in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours, or overnight.
- Heat a grill to medium-high heat.
- Take the steak out of the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill each side for 3-4 minutes, or until it reaches the desired doneness.
- Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
