Gradually add the sugar mixture to the pumpkin mixture, stirring until completely combined.
Slowly add the evaporated milk, stirring until completely combined.
Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool on a wire rack for 2 hours.
