Ingredients

  • 1 pound crabmeat
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crabmeat, bread crumbs, eggs, mayonnaise, mustard, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into eight crab cakes.
  4. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the crab cakes to the skillet and fry for four minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  6. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm.
