Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add the green beans and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-7 minutes, or until the beans are tender.
  3. Add the parsley and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Cook for an additional minute.
  4. Serve warm.
