Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup sour milk
- ½ cup melted butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, sugar, and raisins. Stir in the milk and butter until blended.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
