Chocolate-Chip Apple Cake
Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup raisins
1 cup sour milk
½ cup melted butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, sugar, and raisins. Stir in the milk and butter until blended.
Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
