Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the sugar, flour and salt. Beat in the eggs, corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in the pecans, and pour mixture into the unbaked pie shell.
  3. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
