  • 2 pounds yellow squash, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced squash and chopped onion to the skillet. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Add the sautéed squash and onion mixture to the bowl with the cheese mixture. Stir well to combine.
