Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the cauliflower florets and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the flour and stir to combine. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Slowly add the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt and pepper and stir to combine. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
