Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup caramel bits
  • 1/2 cup nougat bar pieces

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the caramel bits and nougat bar pieces.
  7. Drop the batter by rounded tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
