Ingredients
- 1 lb. boudin sausage
- 1 lb. pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapenos
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and transfer it to a greased baking sheet.
- In a large skillet, cook the boudin sausage over medium-high heat until browned. Add the bell peppers, onions, and jalapenos to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Spread the sausage mixture over the pizza dough, leaving a 1/2 inch border. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, and black pepper. Brush the mixture over the top of the pizza.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
