Ingredients

  • 2 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, cheese, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch (1 cm) thickness. Cut out scones using a biscuit cutter or a knife.
  6. Place the scones on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool before serving.
