- 1 package (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast

- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/2 cup crushed pretzels
Directions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water. Let sit for 5 minutes until the mixture is foamy.
- Add the flour, sugar, and salt to the yeast mixture and mix until combined. Add the butter and continue to mix until the dough comes together.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll into a 16x10-inch rectangle. Sprinkle the butterscotch chips and pretzels over the dough and roll up into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased 9-inch round cake pan. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.
