1 (15.5 ounce) can of kidney beans, drained and rinsed

Directions
In a large pot or skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until it is browned. Drain off any excess fat.
Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, oregano, chili powder, paprika, cumin, and sugar. Stir to combine and cook until vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.
Add diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and tomato sauce to the pot. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the chili is thickened, about 45 minutes.
Add the cooked ziti noodles to the pot and stir to combine.
Serve the chili with ziti with a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
