Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped apples
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease baking sheets.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- Gradually stir in the flour mixture. Fold in the apples and butterscotch chips.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
