Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix (butter flavored)
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped Butterfinger candy pieces
- 2 cans buttercream frosting
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, eggs, oil, butter, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir in 1/4 cup of the Butterfinger candy pieces.
- Pour batter into prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cake cool completely before frosting.
- Spread one can of buttercream frosting over cooled cake. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup of Butterfinger candy pieces over the frosting.
- Spread remaining can of buttercream frosting over the cake. Enjoy!
