Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar

Directions

  1. Add the warm water, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, flour, and yeast to the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  2. Select the Dough cycle and press start.
  3. When the cycle is finished, turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll out into a 1/2 inch thick circle.
  4. Cut the doughnuts out using a doughnut cutter or a biscuit cutter.
  5. Place the doughnuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter.
  8. Roll in the cinnamon sugar to coat.
