Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar
Directions
- Add the warm water, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, flour, and yeast to the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
- Select the Dough cycle and press start.
- When the cycle is finished, turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll out into a 1/2 inch thick circle.
- Cut the doughnuts out using a doughnut cutter or a biscuit cutter.
- Place the doughnuts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter.
- Roll in the cinnamon sugar to coat.
