Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the melted butter and sugar and stir until well blended.
- Spread the batter into the prepared baking dish. Spread the blueberries over the batter. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the blueberries.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown.

- The origin of the name “dump cake” is unknown, but it is believed to be related to the fact that all of the ingredients are “dumped” into the baking dish.
