Ingredients
- 2 pounds beef tips
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Directions
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Dredge the beef tips in the flour mixture, coating all sides.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef tips and cook for about 5 minutes, or until browned on all sides.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and heavy cream. Simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the beef tips are cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
