Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375 F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and coconut flakes.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter and water.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness.
- Using a pastry cutter or pizza cutter, cut the dough into 2-inch strips.
- Carefully wrap each strip around a wooden dowel or rolling pin and bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Allow the rolls to cool before removing them from the dowels.
