Ingredients
- 3 over-ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/3 cup of melted butter
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with butter.
- In a medium bowl, mash bananas with a fork. Add the sugar, melted butter, baking soda, salt, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Mix until combined.
- Add the flour to the banana mixture and stir until just combined. Do not over mix.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts (optional).
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
