Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch pie pan.
- In a medium bowl, combine melted butter and 1/2 cup light brown sugar. Stir in flour and salt until crumbly. Press into prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together mashed bananas, corn syrup, dark brown sugar, 2 tablespoons melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour into crust.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until filling is set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
