Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch pie pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine melted butter and 1/2 cup light brown sugar. Stir in flour and salt until crumbly. Press into prepared pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together mashed bananas, corn syrup, dark brown sugar, 2 tablespoons melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour into crust.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until filling is set.
  5. Allow to cool before serving.
