Ingredients

  • 4 split chicken breasts, skin on
  • 1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, onion powder, oregano, and thyme. Stir to combine.
  3. Rub each chicken breast with olive oil, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, making sure to press the mixture into the chicken. Place chicken breasts, skin-side up, on a greased baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and the skin is golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
