Ingredients
4 salmon fillets
8 strips of bacon
1/2 cup of bourbon
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the bourbon, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and smoked paprika. Mix until well combined.
Add the salmon fillets to the marinade and turn to coat. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Lay out 4 strips of bacon on a baking sheet.
Carefully place a salmon fillet in the center of each strip of bacon. Wrap the bacon around the salmon, securing with a toothpick if necessary.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until the bacon is crisped and the salmon is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
