This bacon Brussels sprouts and mushroom linguine recipe is a satisfying and flavorful pasta dish that combines the savory flavors of bacon with the earthy taste of Brussels sprouts and mushrooms. Perfect for a cozy night in or a special occasion dinner.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and quartered
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside, leaving bacon drippings in the skillet.
  3. Add Brussels sprouts to the skillet and cook until slightly browned and tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add mushrooms and garlic to the skillet and cook until mushrooms are softened.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to combine with the vegetables.
  7. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cooked bacon, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
