Ingredients
- 4 Mexican teleras rolls
- 1/2 lb of shredded chicken
- 1/2 lb of cooked carnitas
- 1/2 lb of cooked chorizo
- 1/2 lb of cooked ham
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup of refried beans
- 1/2 cup of salsa verde
- 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup of mustard
- 1/4 cup of chipotle sauce
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
- Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the shredded chicken, carnitas, chorizo, and ham to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through, about 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toast the teleras rolls until slightly golden brown.
- Spread the refried beans on one side of each roll.
- Top with the cooked meats and onion.
- Drizzle the salsa verde, mayonnaise, mustard, and chipotle sauce over the meats.
- Serve the tortas ahogadas warm.
