Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup peeled and chopped apples
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla and beat until well blended.
- Stir in the dry ingredients until just blended.
- Mix in walnuts and apples.
- Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are lightly browned.
