Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 pound ricotta cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the honey and ricotta cheese until blended. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the wheat flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and cardamom. Slowly blend the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
