Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain fat and stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, the ground beef, and the cheese. Top with the remaining potatoes.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the onion, cream of mushroom soup, milk, and butter. Pour over the casserole.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
