Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup canned diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup pitted green olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, about 8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper and stir to combine. Add the diced tomatoes, olives, and parsley and stir to combine.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes. Serve warm.
