Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix together melted butter, cocoa powder, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
- Add baking soda, flour, coconut and walnuts. Mix until blended.
- Pour batter into a greased 9-inch cake pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool and then serve.
