Ingredients

  • 1 cup of butter
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1-2 cups of chopped gummy worms

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture alternately with the milk.
  5. Fold in the gummy worms and pour batter into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Cake is done when it springs back to the touch.
  7. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely.
