- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a muffin tin by spraying it with cooking spray or lining it with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, applesauce, honey, vegetable oil, and egg until well combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not over mix.
- Using a scoop or spoon, fill each muffin cup with the batter until it is almost full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the tin for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
