1 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla and mix until combined.
Add the sour cream and milk and mix until combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the white chocolate chips.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
To make the frosting, combine the heavy cream, confectioners’ sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Beat until stiff peaks form. Spread over the cooled cake layers.
Serve and enjoy!
