Directions

- Remove the bowl from the heat and beat the mixture with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add the vanilla extract and continue to beat until the frosting is light and fluffy, about 2 minutes more.
- Use the frosting immediately or transfer to a sealed container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
