Ingredients

  • 4 ounces jamón serrano (cured Spanish ham)
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup pitted black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Cut the jamón serrano into thin strips.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the jamón serrano and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the white wine and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the honey and olives and cook for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from the heat and stir in the parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm.
