Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat.
  2. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper and add to the skillet.
  3. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown on the outside and cooked through.
  4. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add the garlic, mushrooms, and bourbon to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the mushrooms are softened.
  6. Add the thyme, oregano, and salt and pepper to the skillet and stir to combine.
  7. Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them.
  8. Cover the skillet and cook for 10 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through.
  9. Serve the pork chops with the sauce spooned over them.
