Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.

- In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, cornstarch, apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spoon mixture into pie crust.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and eggs. Pour over the apple mixture.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
