Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder and salt. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar and butter. Spread half of the mixture into the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together the walnuts, chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Spread this mixture over the oats mixture in the pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining oats mixture over the top. Bake for 30 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Cool before cutting into bars.
