Ingredients
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla.
- Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir until combined.
- Stir in the walnuts.
- Pour the filling into the pie crust.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
