Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla.
  4. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Stir in the walnuts.
  6. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  7. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  8. Let cool before serving.
