Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegan butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar, cocoa powder, almond milk, and vanilla until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the baking soda, baking powder, salt, and gluten-free flour.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
  6. Grease a 9-inch cake pan with vegan butter, then pour the batter into the pan.
